What is sales & marketing automation, and who is it for?

Sales and marketing automation means every enquiry is captured, followed up on a schedule, and tracked to the money it produced. Techmode sets up the CRM, the follow-up sequences and the reporting behind them. It suits businesses spending on marketing without knowing which spend works. From KSh 80,000, in two to six weeks.

CRM setup, email and SMS journeys, lead scoring, and campaign automation that nurture prospects while you sleep. We turn marketing spend into tracked, repeatable revenue.

The problem

What this actually costs you.

Leads live in one person's phone and a notebook.
What it costsWhen they are out, the pipeline is invisible; when they leave, it goes with them.
We follow up once and then forget.
What it costsMost sales need several touches, so the ones that needed a second call are lost.
We spend on ads and cannot say what came back.
What it costsBudget goes to whichever channel is loudest rather than whichever one sells.

What we build

The outcome, not the deliverable.

We scope every engagement around results you can measure — not line items that sit on a shelf.

  • Never let a lead go cold
  • Automated follow-up sequences
  • Clear ROI on every campaign

What changes

Before, and after.

  • An enquiry arrives at 9pm

    The old way

It is seen the next morning, if the right person opens the right inbox.

    With Techmode

It is captured, acknowledged, assigned, and waiting at the top of the queue.

  • A prospect says 'not right now'

    The old way

    Written down somewhere, then forgotten.

    With Techmode

Scheduled back into the sequence, and it re-surfaces when they said to.

  • The monthly review

    The old way

Everyone guesses which channel is working.

    With Techmode

Enquiries, conversion and closed value, by source, on one screen.

What's included

Everything in the price, itemised.

  • A CRM set up around your actual sales stages, not a vendor's default
  • Every enquiry channel wired in — website, WhatsApp, phone, walk-in, social
  • Follow-up sequences by email, SMS or WhatsApp, written with you and scheduled
  • Lead scoring so the sales team opens the right conversation first
  • Source tracking from first click to closed deal
  • A dashboard your sales meeting can actually run from
  • Training for the team who will live in it every day

Timeline

2–6 weeks, week by week.

  • Week 1

    Pipeline and sources

We agree your real sales stages and list every way an enquiry currently reaches you, including the informal ones.

  • Weeks 2–4

    CRM, capture and sequences

Setup, channel wiring, and the follow-up sequences drafted with your salespeople so they sound like your business.

  • Weeks 5–6

    Scoring, reporting, adoption

Lead scoring, source-to-close reporting, and training. Adoption is the risk here, so we plan for it explicitly.

Investment

From KSh 80,000, and what moves it.

Sales & Marketing Automation projects start at KSh 80,000 and typically run 2–6 weeks. Every project is scoped and priced in writing before any work begins — the figure below is a starting point, not a quotation.

What pushes the price up

  • Migrating years of messy records from spreadsheets and phones
  • Several teams or branches with different pipelines
  • Sequences in more than one language, or per product line

What keeps it down

  • Starting with one pipeline and one sequence, then extending
  • A CRM you already pay for and want to use properly
  • Someone on your side who owns adoption and chases the team

Third-party costs — hosting, WhatsApp conversation fees, app store accounts — are yours and are named up front. See how we price for the full picture.

Questions

Sales & Marketing Automation, answered.

  • Which CRM do you set up?

Whichever fits your size and budget — we work with the mainstream ones and will recommend based on team size, what you already pay for, and how much you need it to do. We are not resellers, so there is no commission steering the answer.

  • Will this annoy our customers with spam?

Not if it is built properly. Sequences are written with your salespeople, capped in frequency, and stop the moment someone replies or buys. Consent and an easy opt-out are built in, which is also what Kenya's Data Protection Act expects.

  • Can follow-up happen on WhatsApp instead of email?

Yes, and in Kenya it usually should. WhatsApp open rates are far higher than email. We use the official Business API so the messages are compliant and your number does not get blocked.

  • How do you track which marketing actually worked?

Every enquiry carries its source from the first click through to the closed deal, so the report shows revenue by channel rather than clicks by channel. Where a source genuinely cannot be traced — a walk-in, a referral — we capture it as such instead of guessing.

  • What if the sales team will not use it?

That is the most common reason these projects fail, so we design around it: fewer required fields, capture that happens automatically, and the report the sales meeting needs. We also train the team rather than emailing them a login.
